Expat = an international person living in a country other than their country of origin
TCK = Third Culture Kid / Third Country Kid – someone who has moved to a culture other than their original / base culture and stayed long enough in the second or third (or fourth, etc) culture to adapt to it. Third Culture kids may not see anyone culture as their “home”.
